Gold prices are influenced by several domestic and international factors, including movements in the US dollar, global economic uncertainty, geopolitical tensions and investor sentiment.

Investors often turn to gold as a safe-haven asset during periods of economic and political uncertainty, potentially increasing demand and pushing up international prices.

In Pakistan, the exchange rate between the rupee and the US dollar also plays an important role in determining local gold prices, alongside international market trends.
