According to the military’s media wing, the operation was conducted on September 2 following reports of the presence of militants affiliated with what it called Fitna al-Hindustan.
“During the conduct of operation, terrorists’ hideout was identified, monitored and busted through prompt surgical action by own forces, killing all 12 India-sponsored terrorists,” the ISPR said.
The ISPR did not provide further details about the identities of those killed or the weapons and equipment recovered during the operation.
