The military’s media wing said the missile is equipped with advanced navigation and avionics systems, enabling it to strike targets with high precision.

According to the ISPR, the missile’s unique flight path and ability to change direction during flight enhance its capability to evade enemy missile defence systems. The extended range will also improve the army’s ability to strike targets located at greater distances.

The test was witnessed by the Commander of the Army Rocket Force Command, senior military officers, scientists and engineers.

On the occasion, the commander praised the scientists and engineers involved in the missile’s development and successful test for their dedication and technical expertise.

According to the ISPR, the president, prime minister, Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces, and service chiefs of the armed forces congratulated the scientists and engineers on the successful test.

Earlier, Pakistan successfully tested the extended-range version of its indigenously developed Fateh-4 ground-launched cruise missile on October 6, 2026.

The ISPR said the Fateh-4 is equipped with advanced avionics and navigation systems and can strike targets at long distances with high precision. The test also validated the technical parameters of various subsystems designed to improve the missile’s accuracy and survivability.
