Speaking about the security situation, Asif said the Houthis were carrying out aggression against Saudi Arabia and Pakistan was ready to assist the kingdom in any escalation.
He said whether the threat came from the Houthis or any other country, Pakistan would respond to any action challenging Saudi Arabia’s security and use all available resources in its support.
Asif stressed that Saudi Arabia’s security was closely linked to Pakistan’s security, saying, “Saudi Arabia’s enemy is Pakistan’s enemy.”
He reiterated that Pakistan would stand with Saudi Arabia and defend it against any threat from the Houthis.
