Batting first, Pakistan posted 302 for nine in their allotted 50 overs. England were bowled out for 215 in 38.4 overs while chasing a target of 303.

Arafat Minhas was the standout performer for Pakistan, scoring 59 off 58 balls before taking six wickets for 40 runs to dismantle England’s batting line-up.

Pakistan made a poor start as Fakhar Zaman was dismissed for a first-ball duck by Gus Atkinson, while Saim Ayub departed after scoring eight runs.

Babar Azam contributed 34 runs, but Pakistan continued to lose wickets in the early stages of the innings. Hasan Nawaz and Arafat Minhas steadied the innings with valuable contributions.

Hasan Nawaz scored 79 off 74 balls, while Faheem Ashraf added 39 from 26 deliveries. Saad Baig also contributed 35 runs to help Pakistan reach a competitive total.

In reply, England struggled to maintain momentum against Pakistan’s bowling attack. Tom Banton top-scored with 57 runs, while Ben Duckett made 45 and Joe Root contributed 33.

However, regular wickets prevented England from building the partnerships needed to challenge Pakistan’s total. Alongside Minhas, Haris Rauf claimed two wickets, while Naseem Shah took one.

Pakistan had begun their campaign with a 37-run victory over Sri Lanka in the opening match of the series.

Pakistan, England and Sri Lanka are competing in the tri-nation tournament, with the top two teams in the points table set to meet in the final in Lahore on October 31.
