Pakistan now have 103 rating points, while South Africa occupy third place with 104 points. India remain top of the rankings with 115 points, followed by New Zealand in second place with 109 points.

The rise comes after Pakistan secured an emphatic 87-run victory over England on Tuesday, extending their winning streak in the tournament.

All-rounder Arafat Minhas delivered an outstanding performance, scoring 59 off 58 balls before taking career-best figures of 6/40 to dismantle England’s batting line-up.

Hasan Nawaz was Pakistan’s top scorer with 79 off 74 deliveries, while Faheem Ashraf added a quickfire 39 off 26 balls. Saad Baig also contributed 35 runs as Pakistan recovered from 81-4 to post a competitive total of 302-9.

In reply, England were bowled out for 215, falling 88 runs short of their 303-run target. Tom Banton scored 57, while Ben Duckett contributed 45, but their efforts were insufficient to prevent defeat.

Minhas played a crucial role in England’s collapse, taking key wickets, including those of Will Jacks and Adil Rashid on consecutive deliveries. He later ran out Gus Atkinson to complete a remarkable all-round performance and secure Pakistan’s convincing win.

Pakistan will now look to maintain their winning momentum in the tri-series and improve their position further in the ICC ODI rankings.
