Sri Lanka captain Kusal Mendis invited Pakistan to bat first in the second match of the three-game series.

Pakistan captain Sahibzada Farhan said after the toss that the pitch was harder than the one used in the previous match and had less grass, conditions he said suited his players.

Experts expect a true bounce and good pace on pitch number one, which could produce an entertaining contest.

Sri Lanka made three changes to their team for the match, while Pakistan made one change to their playing XI, bringing in Salman Mirza in place of Razaullah.
