According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of gold per tola has skyrocketed by Rs. 8,300, now standing at a staggering Rs. 443,062. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold has leapt by Rs. 7,116, reaching an unprecedented Rs. 379,854. Silver, too, has joined the upward march, climbing Rs. 228 to settle at Rs. 5,662 per tola.

The surge is not confined to domestic markets alone. On the global stage, gold has glittered even brighter, with prices per ounce soaring by $83, now resting at an eye-watering $4,207.

Analysts attribute this rally to mounting economic uncertainties, fluctuating currencies, and the ever-rising allure of gold as a safe-haven asset. As financial turbulence brews worldwide, investors appear to be seeking refuge in the timeless shimmer of the yellow metal — a reminder that in uncertain times, gold’s luster only grows more irresistible.

With prices touching historic highs, the market now stands at the brink of a new chapter — one where the gleam of gold reflects not just wealth, but also the pulse of a world in flux.
