According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of gold increased by Rs 2,700 per tola across the country. After this jump, one tola of gold now stands at Rs 453,562, a level that many market watchers are calling eye-opening.
At the same time, the price of 10 grams of gold rose by Rs 2,315, reaching Rs 388,856, further tightening the grip on buyers who were hoping for some relief.
The upward trend was not limited to the local market. In the international market, gold also gained strength, rising by $22 to settle at $4,334 per ounce. Analysts say the global increase played a key role in lifting domestic prices, as local rates often move in step with global shifts.
Market experts note that gold continues to act as a safe haven, attracting investors during times of financial pressure and uncertainty.
With prices moving steadily upward, many buyers are now watching the market closely, weighing whether to buy now or wait for a possible pause in the rally.
For now, gold’s shine remains strong, and its price shows no sign of cooling off anytime soon.
