According to the All Pakistan Gems & Jewelers Association, the price of gold per tola jumped by a striking PKR 1,300, reaching PKR 541,262. Similarly, 10 grams of gold now costs PKR 464,044, up by PKR 1,114.

The global arena mirrors this upward trend. Internationally, gold gained $13, hitting $5,185 per ounce, reflecting the ongoing volatility in worldwide markets.

Silver, too, is catching the wave. Locally, the price per tola rose by PKR 268 to PKR 9,554, while 10 grams went up by PKR 230 to PKR 8,191. On the international stage, silver inched higher by $2.68, trading at $90.70 per ounce.

Experts explain that the swings in the global market are rippling through local bullion trading floors, causing daily shifts in the value of these treasured metals. ‘The local market doesn’t operate in isolation, every international tremor is felt here,’ analysts note.

As investors and jewelry enthusiasts watch closely, the upward trend shows no signs of slowing, making gold and silver the talk of every trading circle and dinner table alike.
