After a brief dip just a day earlier, the precious metal has once again found its glow, reflecting both global momentum and local demand.
In the international bullion market, gold rose by 44 dollars per ounce, reaching an impressive 4,616 dollars. This upward move did not stay confined to global charts, it quickly echoed in local markets, where prices followed suit.
Back home, the price of gold per tola surged by 4,400 rupees, settling at 483,962 rupees. Similarly, the rate for 10 grams of gold increased by 3,772 rupees, closing at 414,919 rupees.
This sudden upswing comes right after Wednesday’s notable drop of 5,500 rupees per tola, making the rebound even more eye-catching.
Market watchers describe this movement as a “quick bounce-back,” a pattern often seen when global cues shift unexpectedly. For everyday buyers, however, such swings can feel like a moving target just when prices seem to ease, they rise again.
Silver also joined the upward trend, though at a calmer pace. The price per tola of silver edged up by 55 rupees, reaching 7,821 rupees, adding to the overall positive tone in the precious metals market.
Analysts suggest that these changes are closely tied to international market signals, currency fluctuations, and investor sentiment. In simple terms, when global confidence leans toward gold as a safe option, prices tend to rise and local markets rarely stay behind.
For now, gold seems to be back in the spotlight, reminding everyone that in the world of precious metals, calm moments can be short-lived and surprises are never far away.
