He said that the most important demand of exporters is the restoration of the Final Tax Regime. He added that under the Finance Act 2024, exporters were shifted from the Final Tax Regime to the Normal Tax Regime, due to which the export sector is facing difficulties, and therefore they should be included again in the Final Tax Regime.
Faisal Muiz further said that the second key demand is the immediate abolition of the Super Tax. He demanded that in the upcoming budget, the government introduce a tax system that is favorable for industrialists and traders so that business activities can be promoted.
He said that traders and industrialists are the backbone of the country’s economy. He added that if a favorable environment is provided to them, they can play an important role in increasing investment, job opportunities, and foreign exchange reserves in the country.
