According to a notification issued by the Petroleum Division, the price of petrol has been increased to Rs391.22 per litre, while high-speed diesel will now cost Rs421.45 per litre.
The notification stated that the price of petrol was increased by Rs6.88 per litre, while the price of high-speed diesel was raised by Rs5.62 per litre.
The new prices will remain applicable for September 17.
