In a statement posted on social media platform X, Qasim Khan said he had received information from his sources that any gathering near Adiala Jail could potentially be used as a pretext for a possible “retaliatory action” against the jail.
He expressed concern that such a situation could pose a serious threat to the life of his father, Imran Khan.
Qasim Khan urged people to exercise caution and restraint, saying that no one should provide a pretext or opportunity that could lead to an untoward incident and put his father’s life at risk.
PTI has announced a long march towards Islamabad on September 27 over several demands, including the release of Imran Khan.
Ahead of the march, reports have also emerged of Section 144 being imposed in various areas of Punjab and increased security measures.
