Earlier, PTI Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Information Secretary Shaukat Yousafzai had said that no decision had been taken to call off the long march.
Yousafzai said PTI was fully prepared for the long march and that it would remain peaceful, with no government resources being used.
He said a decision regarding the long march could be considered if the federal government held negotiations with the party. However, he said the protest would not be called off without achieving something.
Yousafzai said PTI did not need to have the containers removed or roads reopened, adding that wherever roads were blocked, the party would stage a sit-in.
He also alleged that the federal government had violated a court ruling by blocking roads with containers.
Yousafzai said PTI's demand was that the federal government implement court decisions and allow the lawyers and family members of PTI founder Imran Khan access to him.
He further said the federal government was under pressure ahead of the long march and that PTI would make every possible effort for the release of its founder.
