According to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Kainat Imtiaz represented Pakistan in 19 One-Day Internationals and 21 T20 Internationals during her international career. She was also part of Pakistan’s squad at the 2017 ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup.

Kainat Imtiaz was a member of the Pakistan women’s teams that won gold medals at the 2010 and 2014 Asian Games. She also represented Pakistan at the 2022 Commonwealth Games.

She played her last ODI against Australia in January 2023, while her final T20I came against Thailand in October 2022. After stepping away from international cricket, she also worked in cricket commentary.

Following her retirement as a player, Kainat Imtiaz has remained involved in the sport and recently began her new career as a women’s match referee.

She is now officiating matches in her new role, continuing her association with cricket after representing Pakistan on the international stage.

Kainat Imtiaz comes from a family with a strong connection to cricket. Her mother, Saleema Imtiaz, is also associated with the sport and has made her mark as an umpire.

Saleema Imtiaz became the first Pakistani woman to be included in the International Cricket Council’s International Development Panel. She has so far officiated in nine Women’s ODIs and 69 Women’s T20Is.

Kainat Imtiaz will now continue her cricket journey in an official capacity as a match referee after bringing her international playing career to an end.
