Shukla claimed that several Indian political figures had previously questioned the alleged role of the Indian government in incidents described as false-flag operations.
According to Shukla, the Pahalgam incident was allegedly staged to serve political and other interests linked to the Modi government. He also referred to allegations surrounding land and hotel construction involving the son of Indian Home Minister Amit Shah.
Shukla further cited former Gujarat chief minister Shankersinh Vaghela, who has previously alleged that the Modi government was responsible for the Gujarat violence.
The report also noted that critics within India and people in occupied Jammu and Kashmir have questioned the official narrative surrounding the Pahalgam attack and described it as a planned incident.
Security expert Ajai Sahni had also described the Pahalgam attack as a pre-planned operation, while former Jammu and Kashmir governor Satya Pal Malik had called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi to apologize to the nation and resign.
Former Indian lawmaker Vijay Tiwari has also previously blamed the Indian government for the Pahalgam attack.
Indian singer Neha Singh Rathore has criticized the Bharatiya Janata Party, questioning why major terrorist attacks occur during BJP governments. She also criticized the immediate allegations against Pakistan following the Pahalgam attack, saying critics have accused the BJP government of using such incidents to divert public attention from domestic issues.
