Taking to her Instagram, Sonya shared a video from the premiere of the film showing the fans showering the star cast with love.
In the video, she is seen in a traditional, sequin-green dress as she walked towards the theater flooding with her fans. She was seen swirling with joy as she grinned ear-to-ear.
Expressing gratitude, Sonya said, “Houston… I’m truly speechless tonight. The DEEMAK premiere was housefull. Sooooo much love that people were sitting on the stairs just to be part of it. Even with less capacity and more crowd, no one left till the very end. That kind of warmth… you can’t put into words, Hussaiyn said as she went out of words.
She thanked the owner of HumFM Radio, Rehan Siddiqi, who owns five radio stations in the US and made the premiere possible. She said, “A huge thank you to my fam Rehan Siddiqi who made this all possible within 24 hours. So flawlessly, so professionally, and with so much heart.”
Part of the star cast, Faysal Qureshi was also alongside Sonya as she met with her fans.
