Their dismissals should be approved in the next week by the Ministry of Interior.

The newly appointed Director General of the NCCIA, Khurram Ali, sent the resignation letters of the seven officers to the Ministry according to the officials. According to sources, investigations by the FIA and the intelligence agencies found out that some of the senior officers of the NCCIA were closely related with Ducky Bhai.

His arrest resulted in the officers being reported to have been bribed with a huge amount of money. It is even reported that one of these officers had transferred over 300000 dollars belonging to Ducky Bhai into his account and then shared the money with his associates.

The case escalated to a higher level when various officials involved in it were missing, such as the Assistant Director, Chaudhry Sarfraz Ahmed, the Director of operations, Muhammad Usman, the Assistant Director Mujtaba Zafar, the Deputy Director, Zawar Ahmed, Shoaib Riaz and Ali Raza and Yasir Ramzan, the sub-instructors.

The scandal surfaced after Ducky Bhai wife Aroob Jatoi told the police resulting in a case being registered against the involved police officers. There are nine officials who are already arrested and the investigations are still going on.

Six officials of NCCIA were brought before a court last week on allegations of accepting huge bribes and misusing their power. Their physical remand was granted in court. The FIA said that approximately 42.5 million had been seized in the charges against the accused.
