Dengue Cases on the Rise in Lahore as 26 New Patients Reported

Lahore is once again in the grip of dengue fever, with 26 new cases reported across different parts of the city. Health authorities confirmed that Allama Iqbal Zone recorded the highest number with 11 new patients, followed by Samanabad Zone with five fresh cases.

Meanwhile, Nishtar, Shalamar, and Ravi Zones each reported two new patients, while Aziz Bhatti, Cantt, Wahga, and Gulberg Zones confirmed one case each.

Officials say dengue surveillance teams have been sent to the affected areas for anti-mosquito spraying and awareness drives, as the city continues to battle the seasonal spike in dengue infections.
