The colourful event witnessed 125 Hindu couples from different parts of the country entering into the sacred bond of marriage. Families and guests from Sindh and other provinces arrived at the venue through specially arranged transport, including buses and other vehicles.
The wedding venue was decorated with electric lights and vibrant illumination, creating a festive atmosphere. Guests were welcomed with the traditional sounds of shehnai, drumbeats and cultural dances, reflecting the rich heritage of the Hindu community. Strict security arrangements were maintained throughout the ceremony to ensure a peaceful and safe environment.
Speaking to the media, Dr Ramesh Kumar Vankwani said that helping people establish a home is among the greatest acts of virtue. He said that assisting poor and deserving couples at the start of their married lives brings deep spiritual satisfaction and strengthens social harmony.
He added that such collective wedding ceremonies not only reduce financial burdens on underprivileged families but also promote unity, inclusion and mutual respect within society.
