The court papers, submitted as part of Hussain’s defence, relate to defamation proceedings brought by Khan and his wife, Faryal Makhdoom. The couple, who married in 2013 and have three children, are currently based in Dubai.
The allegations contained in the defence documents claim that Khan secretly recorded a sexual encounter with a British-Pakistani woman and later threatened her directly and through his wife. The claims are denied by Khan and Makhdoom, who describe them as “false, defamatory and malicious”.
According to the filings, one woman—referred to as Woman B—allegedly met Khan through social media in 2022, with contact continuing across multiple platforms. The documents claim the relationship involved consensual meetings in Dubai and that Khan sent explicit material, though it is further alleged that he later recorded an intimate encounter without her knowledge.
The papers also claim that after the relationship ended, Khan attempted to silence the woman by threatening to release compromising material, allegations which his legal team strongly rejects.
It is further alleged that Khan’s wife, Faryal Makhdoom, contacted some of the women involved and issued threats after becoming aware of the alleged relationships. The defence includes claims of recorded phone calls in which abusive language and threats were allegedly made, though Makhdoom’s lawyers deny any wrongdoing.
The court documents also refer to claims involving other women, including allegations of social media contact, financial promises, and requests for explicit images. Khan is said to have denied all such claims, with his lawyers maintaining that he will vigorously contest the case in court.
The legal dispute stems from a broader defamation action in which Khan and Makhdoom are suing Hussain over social media posts and a podcast in which she discussed allegations involving the boxer. Hussain, who runs the organisation “Our Voice,” argues her statements were made in the public interest and are supported by evidence.
According to the defence, Hussain says she was contacted by multiple women who shared their experiences, prompting her to publish claims and launch an online petition raising concerns about alleged misconduct. The petition has reportedly gathered more than 1,600 signatures.
Khan’s legal team argues that Hussain’s actions have caused serious reputational and financial harm, including damage to media projects, and is seeking an injunction to prevent further publication of the allegations.
The case remains ongoing, with all parties either denying wrongdoing or maintaining their claims will be tested in court.
