President Zardari emphasized that Pakistan, a responsible nuclear state, has consistently thwarted every aggressive move by adversaries. ‘Our brave troops have not only defended the homeland but also sent a clear message, any infringement on our territory meets a firm and professional response,’ he remarked.
Highlighting recent tensions, he noted that India had ramped up proxy operations through Afghanistan last week. However, the Taliban regime observed firsthand how Pakistan enforces its ‘red lines’ with resolute strength. Through exhaustive diplomacy, Pakistan blocked terrorist infiltrations and made it unmistakably clear that no foreign entity may violate its soil.

The President singled out banned outfits such as the Tehrik I Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA), stressing that their attacks will not be tolerated and that Pakistan will not allow its neighbors’ territories to be used as staging grounds for destabilization.
President Zardari credited the unity of political leadership and the steadfastness of the nation for enabling Pakistan’s forces to repel enemy advances, noting that each martyr represents the ultimate sacrifice for national stability. ‘It is the state’s solemn duty to ensure the families of our fallen heroes are honored with dignity and sustained support,’ he said.
Urging citizens to remember the sacrifices of the armed forces beyond mere statistics, he added: ‘Today, Pakistan stands secure and resilient thanks to the courage, vigilance, and sacrifice of its fearless sons.’
Closing his address, he reminded the nation that safeguarding sovereignty, upholding the Constitution, and driving economic progress require unyielding effort and collective determination qualities that the Pakistan Armed Forces exemplify every day.
