President of the Gwadar Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Jeehand Hoth, and General Secretary Khalid Saif said the port’s operational readiness marks a new phase for international trade. In a joint statement, they noted that details shared by Chairman Gwadar Port, Noor-ul-Haq Baloch, reflect that the port is now fully equipped to handle global shipping and logistics.
They highlighted the availability of modern cranes, streamlined operations, RO-RO services, the WEBOC online clearance system, and strengthened security measures as key factors that will enhance investor confidence and facilitate smoother trade activities.
Emphasising Gwadar’s strategic location, they said its direct access to Gulf countries, Central Asia, and international markets positions it as a vital trade gateway. With efficient and cost-effective logistics, Gwadar Port is expected to emerge as a major hub driving Pakistan’s economic growth.
