According to the issued statement, PTI members of the National Assembly and Punjab Assembly, ticket holders, stakeholders, and workers have been asked to be present outside Adiala Jail at 2:00 PM on Tuesday.
The statement clarifies that party workers will remain peacefully present until the message of the party leader and former Prime Minister Imran Khan is conveyed to the nation.
Aliya Hamza Malik stated that Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf is a peaceful political party that believes in political struggle within constitutional and legal boundaries.
She urged workers to respond peacefully even to threats, water cannons, and alleged repression, and to avoid any form of provocation.
The statement further said that despite severe cold or darkness of the night, workers will remain steadfast outside Adiala Jail, as this is not only their democratic right but also an expression of solidarity and loyalty to their leader.
The Punjab Chief Organizer instructed workers to protest with complete discipline, peace, and respect for the law.
It is noteworthy that PTI has issued this call at a time when the party leadership has been continuously adopting a protest strategy regarding the transmission of their leader’s message and the prevailing political situation.
