In a visionary move, the CM unveiled the ‘Apna Khet, Apna Rozgar’ program, pledging to provide 3 to 5 acres of land to unemployed and needy citizens. Each beneficiary will receive a Kisan Card, enabling them to access seeds, fertilizers, and pesticides with ease.

‘Rajanpur is no longer a backward district of southern Punjab,’ she said. ‘We are ending years of neglect and opening doors to progress and opportunity.’

The CM also detailed a sweeping transport reform, 72 new roads worth 12 billion PKR, 2600 modern bus stands across the province, and a fleet of 1,500 green buses this year alone. These buses are equipped with Wi-Fi, charging ports, women only compartments, CCTV monitoring, and automated ramps for people with disabilities. The fare? Just 20 rupees.

Maryam Nawaz praised the transport team for their dedication. ‘From drivers to secretaries, every hand is shaping a better Punjab,’ she said. She highlighted that students, women, the elderly, and special persons will travel free on the Green Bus, emphasizing safety, accessibility, and convenience.

Her speech also carried a heartfelt touch for Rajanpur’s citizens. She shared warm messages from Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, greeted locals in traditional Baloch attire, and noted her choice to travel via road rather than helicopter to experience the respect and enthusiasm of the people firsthand.

On social welfare, the CM announced expansions in Himmat Card, Kisan Card, Minority Card, and Ration Card programs, benefiting millions with monthly stipends and food security. She said, ‘Good governance is about giving people health, education, jobs, and safe transportation without them having to ask for it.’

Maryam Nawaz also drew a sharp contrast with governance in other provinces, saying, ‘Where some offer only slogans or ‘awareness,’ Punjab delivers results roads, hospitals, schools, and buses.’

Ending on an inspiring note, she promised, ‘I am committed to serving the mothers, sisters, and daughters of Punjab, leaving no resource unused to uplift their lives.’

With Rajanpur now equipped with modern buses, improved roads, and agricultural support, Punjab appears to be setting a blueprint for inclusive, citizen focused development.
