According to the report, the dead include 26 children, 17 men and 7 women, while the injured include 45 men, 19 women and 47 children. Most of the deaths were due to roofs and walls collapsing.
According to the PDMA, a total of 470 houses were damaged across the province, of which 409 houses were partially destroyed, while 61 houses were completely destroyed. The affected districts include Peshawar, Mardan, Kohat, Bannu, Swat and several areas.
According to officials, relief supplies have been dispatched to the affected districts and the district administration, in collaboration with Rescue 1122, is engaged in relief activities to provide immediate relief to the victims.

Meanwhile, the PDMA has issued an alert of a new series of rains from April 6 to 9, directing citizens to avoid unnecessary travel and stay away from sensitive areas, especially tourist destinations.
On the other hand, according to PESCO officials, 235 feeders affected during the rains have been restored, while power supply has been ensured through alternative sources in some areas.
The PDMA’s Emergency Operation Center is fully functional, while citizens have been instructed to contact the helpline 1700 in any emergency.
