Following the international trend, Pakistan’s local gold market also witnessed a notable correction, with the price of gold per tola plunging by Rs3,500, now standing at Rs420,362. Likewise, the price of 10 grams of gold declined by Rs3,001, settling at Rs360,392.

It is worth recalling that on Monday, gold had surged by Rs1,300 per tola, reaching Rs423,862, before reversing course today.

Meanwhile, silver prices also softened, slipping by Rs130 per tola to Rs5,022.

Analysts attribute the fall to global market corrections and investor shifts toward less volatile assets, reflecting a momentary cooling in precious metal demand.
