According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of gold per tola increased sharply, reaching Rs 444,336 after the latest jump in domestic markets.
The price of 10 grams of gold also climbed by Rs 3,933, settling at Rs 379,880, reflecting strong bullish sentiment in the bullion trade.
In the international market, gold rose by $43.70 per ounce, pushing prices to $4,219 per ounce, as investors continued to seek safe-haven assets amid global economic uncertainty.
Silver prices also moved higher, with per tola rates increasing by Rs 200 to reach Rs 7,279, adding further pressure on precious metals markets.
Gold prices in Pakistan continued their upward momentum on Saturday, tracking gains in the international bullion market, according to local market rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

The latest surge follows a major increase recorded a day earlier, when gold prices in Pakistan jumped by Rs 7,250 per tola, reaching Rs 439,966, while 10 grams rose by Rs 6,525 to Rs 375,947.
With back-to-back gains, gold is now hovering near historic highs in the local market, drawing renewed attention from investors and buyers looking to hedge against inflation and currency volatility.
Market analysts say the continued rally reflects strong global demand for safe-haven assets, coupled with ongoing uncertainty in international financial markets.
