He made the remarks during a meeting with a delegation from the Christian community, which was also attended by Federal Law Minister Azam Nazeer Tarar.
Speaking on the occasion, Attaullah Tarar said that consultations with representatives of minority groups and other communities were essential to ensuring that the views, concerns and needs of all citizens were effectively reflected in legislation and public policymaking.
The minister stated that the government remained committed to promoting interfaith harmony, equal citizenship and social inclusion, adding that every Pakistani should have the opportunity to contribute to the country s development without discrimination.
He emphasized that protecting the rights of minorities and ensuring their participation in national progress remained a key priority of the government.
Members of the Christian community delegation appreciated the government s continued efforts to safeguard the rights of minority groups and acknowledged its commitment to addressing their concerns.
