Addressing a gathering in Chitral, he said that young people want to study and progress, and Jamaat-e-Islami would help them achieve their goals through education and skills development.
He stated that around 1.45 million male and female students have so far registered for the “Bano Qabil” programme, describing the free IT training initiative as a game changer for Pakistan’s youth.
Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman said Chitral has one of the highest literacy rates in Pakistan, but educational facilities in mountainous areas are still insufficient. He added that education has become too expensive due to government policies, making it necessary for society to also play its role.
He said people must not only pressure rulers for reforms but also contribute themselves. Alongside IT training, technical and vocational programmes have also been launched, including courses in electrician work, mobile repairing and plumbing.
He further said that under the “Generation Z Connect Programme,” young people would receive modern training along with moral education so they could contribute positively toward building a skilled and responsible society.
