In response to a statement by the media wing of the military, the rhetoric of India seems to be aimed at providing justifications of war, which according to Pakistan, would have catastrophic consequences on the peace of this region.
The army also made claims to India posing as a victim and at the same time contributing to instability and terrorism in South Asia, which according to Islamabad, the international community is increasingly disapproving.
Reviving memories of previous battles that almost culminated in an all-out war, the ISPR was reminding India about the losses it has suffered, including the fact that its fighter jets have been downed and that Pakistan has strategic missile capability, threatening it with a retaliatory action that would be fast, decisive, and destructive.
The statement highlighted the fact that the armed forces of Pakistan have the capability of hitting deep within the Indian territory, turning a blind eye to the idea of geographical security.
The ISPR also sent a very strong message in response to Indian threats of wiping Pakistan off the map, and that should such an effort be done, they would be wiped off the face of the earth.
This was unmistakable: Pakistan stressed that it is ready, willed, and capable of ensuring its sovereignty and warned that any miscalculation by the Indian leaders may lead to disastrous outcomes in the whole region.
