According to sources, the deceased has been identified as Malik Zain, aged approximately 38 years.
Rescue officials stated that the accident took place when Malik Zain was present on the rooftop during Basant celebrations and suddenly slipped, falling to the ground below.
He was rushed in critical condition to Government Mian Munshi DHQ Hospital, Lahore, where he succumbed to his injuries.
Hospital sources reported that the victim sustained a severe head injury, which left him in critical condition, and a subsequent heart attack proved fatal.
Following the incident, scenes of grief were witnessed among the bereaved family, while journalists and media circles expressed deep sorrow and condolences over the tragic loss.
Police have initiated an investigation into the incident, and further legal proceedings are underway.
