According to the weather department, the maximum temperature on Sunday is expected to remain between 31°C and 33°C.
Southwesterly sea breezes were blowing at a speed of 11 kilometres per hour, while humidity was recorded at 78%, resulting in humid conditions across the city.
The PMD said humid weather is expected to continue on Monday and Tuesday, with drizzle likely during the morning and night hours.
The forecast comes as the low-pressure system over Rajasthan has weakened into a low-pressure area, while monsoon currents from the Arabian Sea continue to influence weather across much of the country.
In Sindh, rain accompanied by thunderstorms is expected in Tharparkar, Umerkot, Mirpurkhas, Badin, Sanghar, Khairpur, Tando Muhammad Khan, Hyderabad, Matiari, Ghotki, Sukkur, Jacobabad, Shikarpur and Qambar Shahdadkot.
The latest advisory follows light rain and drizzle recorded in different parts of Karachi over the past 24 hours.
According to the PMD, Gulshan-e-Hadeed received the highest rainfall in the city with 4.5 millimetres.
Surjani Town recorded 4 millimetres of rain, followed by Gulshan-e-Maymar with 3.4 millimetres.
The M-9 Motorway received 2.3 millimetres of rainfall, while 1 millimetre was recorded in Keamari.
Drizzle was also reported in Jinnah Terminal, Old Airport, Korangi, North Karachi and several other areas of the city.
