The decision was made under the leadership of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, who chaired a meeting approving the Punjab Protection of Ownership of Immovable Property Ordinance 2025. According to the ordinance, every district has been given 30 days to make its Dispute Resolution Committee fully functional.
Maryam Nawaz stated, “No one in Punjab will be deprived of their land anymore — the state stands firmly with the vulnerable.” She reaffirmed that her mission is to ensure that justice, convenience, and employment reach every citizen at their doorstep.
Meanwhile, during a separate meeting with members of the provincial assembly and ticket holders from the Faisalabad Division, the Chief Minister discussed development projects and the agenda of public service.
