Speaking to the media, Barrister Gohar said that criticizing the family of the PTI founder goes directly against party policy. He stressed that personal insults damage not only individuals but also the political culture the party claims to stand for.

He announced that a major consultative meeting of PTI parliamentarians and members of provincial assemblies will be held today. The session will bring together professors and professionals from different fields to discuss matters linked to national improvement and governance.

Barrister Gohar added that Imran Khan’s health will be a key point on the agenda, calling it a matter of serious concern. He said the party has already made its position on political alliances clear and will not step back from its stated stance.

Referring to the upcoming protest, he confirmed that PTI has called for a nationwide shutter-down strike on February 8. He appealed to citizens across the country to take part, emphasizing that the protest will not be limited to any single province.

‘This is not just about Punjab or Khyber Pakhtunkhwa,’ he said. ‘The protest will be held across Pakistan.’

He clarified that participation in the protest will be entirely voluntary, with no pressure on anyone. Barrister Gohar described February 8 as a ‘dark day for democracy,’ underlining the party’s concerns over the political situation.

Reiterating his warning, he said that targeting Imran Khan’s family is unacceptable under any circumstances. He urged party leaders and workers to show restraint, maturity, and a sense of responsibility.

‘Is there no one else to criticize except Khan Sahib’s family?’ he asked. ‘There is a limit to everything. Enough is enough.’

He concluded by making it clear that any future violation of this policy would lead to strict action, stating once again that such behavior leaves no room for individuals within PTI.
