In a statement, Tarar said the strikes were conducted on the night of 16 March as part of “Operation Ghazab Lil Haq,” targeting installations allegedly used by the Afghan Taliban to support militant activities.
He stated that technical support infrastructure and ammunition storage facilities at two locations in Kabul were effectively destroyed. “Visible secondary detonations after the strikes clearly indicate the presence of large ammunition depots,” he added.
In Nangarhar, Pakistan’s armed forces reportedly struck four additional sites, destroying logistics hubs, ammunition stockpiles, and related technical infrastructure.
According to the minister, all targets were selected with precision and were linked to groups described as terror proxies, including “Fitna Al Khawarij” and “Fitna Al Hindustan.” He rejected counterclaims from Taliban sources, calling them “false propaganda.”
Tarar further emphasized that operations under “Ghazab Lil Haq” would continue until the intended objectives are achieved, stating that the campaign is aimed at safeguarding Pakistani citizens from terrorism.
No immediate response from the Afghan Taliban authorities was included in the statement.
