Talat sustained a shoulder injury during the second ODI while attempting to stop a powerful shot from Litton Das off the bowling of Mohammad Wasim Jr near the deep cover boundary. He collided with the advertising boards during the effort. Meanwhile, Shamyl Hussain is suffering from a neck strain, according to the team spokesperson.
Two players, Ghazi Ghori and Saad Masood, are making their international debut for Pakistan in the match.
Pakistan entered the decider with momentum after winning the second ODI by 128 runs in a rain-affected game at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium on Friday.
Bangladesh had been set a revised target of 243 runs in 32 overs under the Duckworth-Lewis method instead of the original 275 in 50 overs. However, the hosts were bowled out for 114 in 23.3 overs.
In the first ODI, Bangladesh secured an eight-wicket victory after comfortably chasing a modest target of 115 runs in just 15.1 overs, powered by a strong performance from their top-order batters.
