During the meeting, Ambassador Iftikhar provided a comprehensive briefing on Pakistan’s active role in the UN Security Council and other UN bodies.

He highlighted the mission’s efforts to advance Pakistan’s positions on critical issues, including Kashmir and Palestine, and to promote the country’s foreign policy agenda on global platforms.

Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar appreciated the mission’s proactive approach and stressed that international peace, security, and development hinge on the effectiveness of the United Nations and other global forums.
