The couple are expected to be joined by Meghan’s mother, Doria Ragland, with no plans to include extended or estranged relatives.
An insider told the publication that for Harry and Meghan, Christmas is about creating happiness and positive memories for their children. The source added that they have no intention of revisiting past conflicts or involving people who have caused emotional pain, as their priority is making the holiday special for Archie and Lilibet.
Sources also said the couple have decided to maintain distance from estranged family members, including Meghan’s father, despite reports of his recent health scare. Meghan is said to have set clear boundaries regarding who will be part of their family celebrations.
Another family source said the couple remain focused on togetherness and ensuring their children enjoy a warm and memorable Christmas centred on immediate family.
