Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited has signed a strategic partnership with Indus Cloud to introduce advanced cloud solutions powered by Huawei Cloud in Pakistan, strengthening the country’s digital infrastructure ecosystem.
The agreement aims to expand enterprise and government access to secure, scalable, and locally hosted cloud services. By combining PTCL’s nationwide connectivity and data centre infrastructure with Indus Cloud’s platform capabilities, the partnership is expected to accelerate enterprise digital transformation across multiple sectors.
The deal was signed by PTCL Chief Business Solutions Officer Asif Ahmad and Indus Cloud Chief Investment and Information Officer Rumman Arshad Dar, in the presence of senior officials from both organisations.
According to PTCL, the collaboration will integrate Huawei Cloud stack services into Pakistan’s enterprise ecosystem, enabling organisations to deploy globally benchmarked cloud solutions with local hosting, compliance, and support.
Asif Ahmad said that the demand for secure and scalable cloud infrastructure is increasing as organisations accelerate digital transformation. He added that PTCL is building an integrated digital ecosystem combining connectivity, data centres, and cloud services to support this shift.
Indus Cloud also emphasized that PTCL’s nationwide infrastructure will help extend advanced cloud capabilities to enterprises seeking reliable and locally compliant solutions.
The partnership is seen as a step forward in strengthening Pakistan’s cloud computing landscape and improving access to enterprise-grade digital infrastructure for both public and private sector users.
