According to the Deputy Commissioner of Ziarat, the suspects were captured in a swift, well coordinated operation that yielded weapons, explosives, and communication devices.

The Deputy Commissioner added that the detained men were allegedly linked to cross border groups trying to destabilize the region. The Chief Minister of Balochistan lauded the Ziarat administration and Levies Force for their timely and decisive response, emphasizing that their alertness likely prevented a far graver tragedy.

Meanwhile, in a separate but related development, security officials revealed the identities of the militants involved in the attack on the Frontier Corps (FC) headquarters in Peshawar earlier in the day. All three attackers killed in the incident were also confirmed to be Afghan nationals.

Earlier this morning, three suicide bombers launched a coordinated assault on the FC headquarters. One attacker detonated himself at the main gate, enabling two others to infiltrate the compound. FC personnel promptly returned fire, neutralizing both intruders before they could inflict further damage.

The suicide blast claimed the lives of three FC soldiers and left ten others injured, including both FC personnel and civilians. The wounded were rushed to Lady Reading Hospital and Khyber Teaching Hospital, where they are receiving treatment.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi issued strong condemnations, describing the attack as a cowardly attempt to shake the nation’s resolve. The KP Chief Minister has requested a detailed report from Inspector General Zulfiqar Hameed.
