Addressing a brief gathering at Numaish Chowrangi in Karachi, the Chief Minister said that police harassment was carried out at various locations and party workers were taken into custody. Despite this, a large number of people gathered, which, he said, proves that the nation stands with PTI founder Imran Khan.

He added that both Punjab and Sindh provinces treated them unfairly, but the movement would not stop. He announced that the next phase of the movement would be in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and through a street movement, the message of PTI’s founding chairman would be conveyed across the country.

Thanking the people of Karachi, the Chief Minister said that by holding a rally without basic facilities, the public proved that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf is the true representative party of Karachi. He remarked that those who believed Imran Khan’s politics had ended should come and see for themselves.

He further stated that those who claim to be champions of democracy have, in reality, failed to uphold democratic values. He accused the Pakistan Peoples Party of altering the structure of the Constitution and imposing a dictatorship in Sindh.

The Chief Minister urged party workers to remain prepared, saying that the public is ready to march towards D-Chowk and is awaiting a call from the PTI founder. He made it clear that they would not allow anyone to deprive the people of their rights or keep the nation’s leader unjustly imprisoned.

It is noteworthy that PTI’s rally at Bagh-e-Jinnah in Karachi could not be held, after which the Chief Minister delivered a brief address at Numaish Chowrangi and later departed, leading to the dispersal of party workers.

According to PTI Sindh President Haleem Adil Sheikh, the Chief Minister could not reach the rally venue due to heavy crowds and therefore addressed the gathering at Numaish Chowrangi. The Sindh government had granted conditional permission for the rally at Bagh-e-Jinnah; however, PTI decided not to proceed, citing the late issuance of the NOC.

Earlier, in a video message, the Chief Minister said that the people of Sindh showed respect, but the Sindh government failed to honor the Sindhi cap and Ajrak by blocking routes leading to Bagh-e-Jinnah. He added that every possible attempt was made to stop the rally, but the public’s enthusiasm was commendable.
