According to an official statement issued by the central bank, the Monetary Policy Committee reviewed key economic indicators, inflation trends, and overall macroeconomic conditions before reaching the decision.

The SBP said that in view of current economic stability and prevailing financial conditions, it has been decided to maintain the policy rate at its existing level of 11.5%, with no change announced.
The central bank added that the decision reflects a cautious approach aimed at balancing inflation control with economic growth needs.
It is worth noting that in the previous monetary policy meeting as well, the SBP had kept the interest rate unchanged at the same level.
