In a harrowing development, three women were found dead inside a home at Harmain Tower, Block 2, Gulshan e Iqbal. A man, later identified as Yaseen, was discovered in a semi conscious state at the same location.
The deceased women were identified as 52 year-old Sameena, 22-year-old Maha, and 19 year old Samreen. Police and crime scene teams swiftly reached the scene, transferring the bodies and the affected man to the hospital for further examination.
Authorities reported that there were no visible injuries on the women, raising suspicion that toxic gas exposure may have caused the deaths. Investigations are ongoing to determine the exact circumstances surrounding the incident.
Separately, two more deaths were reported from different parts of the city. In Baldia, a man named Farhan was found hanging in his home, with preliminary investigations suggesting suicide, though inquiries continue.
In Lyari, near Agra Taj Babu Hotel, the body of 30 year old Suhail was discovered on the road. Rescue officials noted that Suhail appeared to have struggled with substance abuse. Both bodies were taken to Civil Hospital for formal procedures.
Karachi’s roads proved perilous over the weekend. A motorcycle lost control near Baldia Northern Bypass, injuring six individuals, including a family.
Tragically, 15 year-old Muhammad Bilal lost his life after a motorcycle slipped near Landhi Jogi Mor. The body was transferred to Jinnah Hospital for necessary formalities.
Near Gadap City, 70 year old Alam Khan was fatally struck by an unidentified vehicle while crossing the road. The driver fled the scene, leaving authorities to investigate.
Elsewhere, an oil tanker overturned near Baldia Laki Chadhai due to high speed. While no casualties were reported, the accident disrupted traffic significantly.
