According to a private TV channel Geo News, Hafiz Tahir Ashrafi said in his statement that US President Donald Trump has invited Prime Minister of Pakistan Shehbaz Sharif to participate in the Peace Board related to Gaza. He termed the development as the result of Pakistan’s continued efforts and struggle on behalf of the Palestinian people.

He said that the manner in which Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Asim Munir have represented and advocated for the Palestinian people is commendable, and this stance has been appreciated at the global level.
Hafiz Tahir Mahmood Ashrafi further stated that the Prime Minister should accept this invitation so that Pakistan’s diplomatic and moral role for the Palestinian people can be further strengthened and the voice of the oppressed Palestinians can be effectively raised at international forums.
