In his statement, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that the current situation is providing an opportunity for hostile elements to exploit the instability.

He added that certain forces, including what he described as an India-Israel nexus, could take advantage of the tensions for their own objectives.

He stressed that all political disputes and grievances should be resolved through peaceful, democratic, and constitutional means, urging protesters to end their demonstrations peacefully.

The PPP chairman said that his party has already demanded the withdrawal of the pre-announced election schedule issued by the Election Commission, arguing that a fair and acceptable electoral process is essential for political stability and restoring public trust.

Bilawal Bhutto said the PPP remains committed to a political resolution and will work towards establishing a Truth and Reconciliation Commission to address pending grievances and ensure that concerns of all stakeholders are resolved.

He added that if all relevant parties, including the federal government, agree, the Azad Kashmir government may review notifications related to protest movements, ensuring that individuals who have not committed any wrongdoing are not penalised for the actions of others.

He emphasized that political differences should not be addressed through force, but through dialogue, patience, and consensus, which he described as essential for long-term stability.

On regional developments, Bilawal Bhutto said that in the context of a potential Iran-US agreement, the prospect of an “Islamabad Agreement” being signed represents a significant and historic development.

He noted that global attention is currently focused on Pakistan’s role and its diplomatic importance in the region, calling it a positive opportunity for the country.
