Separately, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said a delegation from Powerus, led by Velicovich, met Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir at General Headquarters in Rawalpindi.
The ISPR statement did not mention the memorandum of understanding, but said the meeting discussed potential cooperation in defence technology, defence procurement, defence production and capacity building.
According to the statement, Field Marshal Asim Munir stressed the importance of advanced technology and innovative solutions for strengthening national security and defence capabilities.
The development comes as Pakistan and the United States seek to expand cooperation in defence and other areas.
Powerus officials said the company was also exploring opportunities to promote advanced technology cooperation between the US and Pakistan and assess the potential for technology manufacturing in Pakistan.
