Saudi sports journalist and former Al Nassr spokesperson Saud Al-Sarami has claimed that Ronaldo could leave the club during the January transfer window. Speaking to Al Arabiya FM, Al-Sarami said Ronaldo may not play a role in solving the club’s technical issues during the winter transfer window.

Ronaldo had five attempts on goal against Al Ain, but only one was on target and was saved by goalkeeper Khalid Eisa.

Al Nassr have won only one of their last four matches, adding to questions surrounding the team’s current form. However, there has been no official confirmation from Ronaldo or Al Nassr that he plans to leave the club or move to another team in January.

Ronaldo also indicated in an interview with Vogue last month that the 2026-27 season could be the final season of his football career. He said he wanted to leave the sport with a strong legacy.

For now, Ronaldo’s possible departure from Al Nassr remains based on the claims of a Saudi journalist, with no final decision publicly announced.
