Ronaldo announced the marriage on Instagram by sharing a photograph of two hands wearing wedding rings, believed to be his and Rodríguez’s. The post was reportedly liked more than three million times within 30 minutes.
Ronaldo and Rodríguez have been together for around a decade. They first met at a Gucci store in Madrid, where Rodríguez was working while Ronaldo was playing for Real Madrid.
The couple announced their engagement on August 11, 2025, when Rodríguez shared a photograph of a large diamond ring on social media.
Ronaldo has five children. He shares two daughters, Alana Martina and Bella, with Rodríguez, while she has also helped raise his other three children.
Their daughter Alana was born in 2017. Their younger daughter Bella was born in April 2022 alongside a twin brother who died shortly after birth.
The family currently lives in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, where Ronaldo plays for Al-Nassr.
